Under her RIVER REPOPULATION PROGRAM, FISHCAREPLUS intends to top 100 spongebob atlantis build a state of the art fish hatchery, capable of breeding 120 different species of fishes that are native to Nigeria and the West African Coast, to produce young fishes in this hatchery and to introduce them back into the river as a way to help improve the stock of fish in our now barren rivers. The target is to stock about 1 million juvenile fish into the Niger Delta Rivers, tributaries and contributaries, every year for 10 years. This is to be done in line with all scientific and environmental considerations. Experts in relevant fields within and outside Nigeria shall be hired for successful and environmentally sustainable execution of the project.

And partnership is sought with Governments,Parastatals, Companies, NGOs and International Governments and Organisations for collaborations and support to realize this objective.

This project is slated to cover 2 years of construction if fund expected is complete within the 1st year. Or 3 or more years if other wise.

PROSPECT

This project aims to culture and breed at least 100 different species of fishes in danger of extinction in Nigeria and to introduce them back into the wild after weighing all environmental effects.
To introduce per year, 1 million fishes every year for ten years
To sound out fish density in different parts of the Niger Delta
To advise on matters relating to oil spill effect on aquatic life
To advise and guide on ways to reduce industrial waste access to the rivers
To carry out campaigns to sanitize the aquatic environment by companies, communities, individuals and governments.

And to carry out any such service as makes for fisheries proliferation in the Niger Delta

The total cost estimate for this project is N850,000,000.00 (Eight hundred and fifty six million naira) Aproximately $ 6.8million USD
